Container Housing Solution

The Containers Housing Solution was conceived in the context of recurring Mega Events to host construction and media technicians, athletes, organization members and anyone interested in sustainable-living. The interior design and facility options are endless, since containers can be linked, bedrooms added, facilities upgraded. Their key feature is their 100% transportability with no special shipping certification needed; in other words, all modifications are performed in the interior with zero intervention in the exterior shell. Given that shipping rates are low, the solution provides a real economic alternative to permanent building solutions. To add on that, their flexibility regarding their placement site position, orientation and dimensions proves to be greatly advantageous.

Container 1: 2x Single Room

  • No modifications in the exterior shell,
  • Internal Insulation: Polyurethane Steel Sheet Panels,
  • Glass Door and Window at Entrance,
  • Possibility of Condominium creation.

  • 2 Independent Living Spaces,
  • 1 Single Bed, 1 WC, Kitchen & Storage in each Space,
  • Heating/Cooling by A/C.

Container 2: 2x Quadruple Living Space

Each 12 m long container is separated in 2 independent Living Spaces. Each Living Space consists of:

• Glass Door and Window,
• 1 Room with 2 Double-Deck Beds, Heating/Cooling by A.C., Thermal Radiator, 4 Lockers,
• WC

This Solution provides a compromising accommodation response to emergency circumstances, military use etc.

Container 3: Experimental Stand-alone Double Room
