TV Tower in Pyeongchang, S. Korea
The project of TV tower in Pyeongchang, was transported using 15 ocean containers from Rio de Janeiro, and adjusted on site to meet the 400 m2 needed.
To achieve lower costs and faster construction times compared to the traditional concrete foundations, a steel surface foundation solution was implemented. The exterior structure was made from steel elements and pre-fabricated panels, while the interior exploited the PMS.
Accurate Geotechnical and Structural design ensured the buildings functionality. In addition, the feedback from the RHB hosts showed great satisfaction with regards to aesthetics and interior serviceability.
